The Fine Print

1. What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a 100% fee. This protects the time reserved specifically for you and helps keep the studio running smoothly.

2. Why do you require a card on file?

A card on file secures your appointment and allows me to hold dedicated time just for you. It also helps prevent last-minute cancellations and no-shows, which directly impact small independent studios.

3. What happens if I’m running late?

If you’re running more than 10 minutes late, your service may need to be shortened or rescheduled, and the cancellation policy may apply. Please text as soon as possible if something comes up.

4. What happens if I don’t show up?

No-shows are charged according to the cancellation policy. Repeated no-shows may require prepayment for future bookings.

5. Can I reschedule my appointment?

Yes — reschedules made with at least 24 hours’ notice are always appreciated and free of charge. Same-day changes are treated as late cancellations.

6. Do you send appointment reminders?

Yes. Automated reminders are sent to the phone number or email provided at booking. Missed communications due to incorrect or outdated contact information do not waive the cancellation policy.

7. What if there’s an emergency?

Life happens. If there’s a genuine emergency, reach out as soon as possible. I handle these on a case-by-case basis and always aim to be fair.

8. Why are these policies so firm?

As a private, appointment-only studio, missed appointments can’t be filled last minute. These policies allow me to stay consistent, focused, and present for every client who books.
