There’s something I’ve been sitting with lately. Gratitude and frustration can exist at the same time. And if I’m being honest, that’s exactly where I am right now.
This season of my life isn’t easy. I’m rebuilding. I’m starting over in a lot of ways. I’m living in an environment that doesn’t always feel supportive. I’m pushing through financial pressure, inconsistency, and the kind of stress that doesn’t always show on the surface.
But at the same time…
I get to wake up and do what I love.
I get to stand behind my chair, connect with people, and help them feel like themselves again. And that part — I don’t take lightly. Because the truth is, every single person who sits in my chair right now is part of something bigger than just a haircut.
You’re part of my rebuild.
Whether it’s your first visit, your second, or you’ve been with me for years — you choosing me matters more than you probably realize.
Especially in a time where people are more intentional with how they spend, where they go, and who they trust.
This industry isn’t just about hair. It’s about trust. It’s about energy. It’s about the experience of being seen and taken care of, even if just for an hour.
And I feel that responsibility every day.
To everyone who has:
- found me on Google or taken a chance on a new spot
- left a review and helped someone else feel confident booking
- come back a second time (that one means a lot)
- trusted me to fix something that didn’t go right somewhere else

This path isn’t easy. It never has been.
It takes resilience to keep showing up when weeks are inconsistent. It takes discipline to keep improving your craft when you’re tired. It takes heart to create a space where people feel comfortable being themselves.
But it also gives something back that’s hard to explain unless you’ve lived it.
Connection. Creativity. Independence.
And the chance to build something that’s yours.
Right now, I’m in a phase where things are growing — just not fully stable yet. And I’m learning that it’s okay to be grateful for how far I’ve come while still acknowledging that this part is hard.
Both can be true.

This is still being built.
